Muslim Education Society (M.E.S) another non-profit organization working for the educational welfare of Muslim Community. They are offering scholarship for meritorious but financially backward students who made an admission to professional courses. The scholarship is a sum of 4500 per annum for each students.

Minority Scholarship For Christian and Muslim Students

Indian Government is giving minority scholarships to Christian and Muslim students through state government to pursue professional education. Out of the total 20000 scholarships government instituted kerala students will get a total of 1469 scholarships. Out of this 830 is allotted for Muslims and 639 for Christian minority. Only students whose parental income is less than 2.5 laks per annum are eligible to apply for this. Currently the scholarship is offering only in technical/professional education. The scholarship is a sum of maximum 25000 for a day scholar and 30000 for a hostler. To view the details please clickhere

The very positive thing about this scholarship is their is a great possibility of getting this, as the percentage of students from these communities whose parental income below 2.5 laks is low.

KHNA Scholarships for Hindu Students

Kerala Hindus of North America(KHNA) is an organization working for the welfare of Hindu Community. They are offering scholarships for meritorious students from Hindu community. The scholarship is offering to the students who got an admission to a professional college. The applicant should have completed +2 with at least 75% marks and applicants parents income should not exceed 50000 INR

The scholarship is an amount of 250 $ (Almost 10500 INR) yearly.

MSS Scholarship For Muslim Students

Muslim Service Society(M.S.S) is an organization which works for the improvement of the community. It offers some scholarships for meritorious but financially week students from kerala who are pursuing their professional education. The scholarship amount will vary from 5000 to 10000 rupees per annum depending on which category you are coming.

Its always a dream for most of the students who are pursuing their education to get some scholarship. In our culture where the entire education expenses are funded by the parents, its great to get a scholarship. The education expenses in our country is less when we compared to other countries. still for a middle class family its difficult to fund the whole money.
